Welcome to Children's Engineering Day at Vitenparken Campus Ås -
A day filled with creativity, experiments and science fun!

Price: 65 NOK per child + 1 adult. Free for children under 3 years accompanied by an adult. Additional adults must purchase their own ticket.
Age: Best suited for children 6 – 12 years old.

Program:
- Marshmallow race
Build the ultimate horse-drawn carriage and see if your marshmallow wins the race! - House of Cards Competition
Who can build the tallest house of cards with a slightly unusual deck of cards? - Magic thread tables
Table legs made of string? It doesn't look like it's going to work, but it does!
- Robot building workshop
Build your own Lego robots and program them to solve different challenges!
Children's Engineering Day is one of our most popular events, where children get to explore exciting and creative activities within technology, science and engineering! Through practical tasks such as coding, building and experiments, children get to learn, create and explore in a fun way.
Our educator Ole Andreas Nordhaug will guide the children through creative tasks and inspire them to explore science and technology in an engaging way.
Children's Engineering Day is organized in collaboration with NITO (Norwegian Engineering and Technology Organization) and several science centers across the country. The goal of the day is to arouse interest in science among children and highlight how important technology and engineering are for the future.
Look forward to a day of exciting workshops, competitions and activities for the whole family!
