Vitenparken is a separate foundation, so apart from being located on NMBU's campus, we have a close and good collaboration with NMBU.
As a guest, you can park in the guest parking lot at the Biotechnology Building. It costs 5,- per hour during working hours 08:00 – 17:00. Outside working hours, parking is free. Remember to get a parking ticket from the machine. If there are no available guest parking spaces, you can park in the employee parking lot, but then you must come by our café and register your license plate number. There is a charging facility for electric cars.
Vitenparken is located in the heart of Campus Ås in Ås municipality, about 40 kilometers south of Oslo. It is easy to travel to Vitenparken in different ways. The address of Vitenparken is Fredrik A. Dahls vei 8, 1433 Ås.
By train
There are trains from Oslo Central Station to Ås Station every hour. The train takes 27 minutes.
There are trains from Moss station to Ås station every hour. The train takes 20 minutes.
It only takes 15 minutes to walk from Ås station to Vitenparken You can also take bus 510 towards Drøbak from the bus stop Ås Videregående skole to the University of Ås.
By bus
Nettbuss runs buses from Oslo bus terminal. Both lines 3 and 6 stop at Korsegården which is within walking distance of Vitenparken There is a bus from Ski terminal to Ås every 30 minutes. Travel time is 14 minutes.
By car
It takes 30 minutes to drive here from Oslo city center. Vitenparken is located 1 kilometer from E6. Take exit #18 with signs for NMBU.
