Explore light with us during the Science Park's Science Weekend in January. We will take the children on a scientific journey through many fun and educational activities.

What is Science Weekend?

Every month we organize a Science Weekend for children and young people at Vitenparken Here, curiosity is combined with science and creativity through fun activities for young and old.

Each Science Weekend has its own unique theme and our facilitators set the framework for educational, interactive and fun activities that help children develop their interests in science, creativity and the environment.

Program for the science weekend for both Saturday and Sunday:

12:00 – 13:00 and 13:30 – 14:30

Light Science Show: Our showman Researcher-Frederic shows off his favorite experiments involving light!

11:00 AM – 3:00 PM Drop-in activities in VitenVerden:

– Polarization Magic: Create color art in the secret world of light! All we need is a screen, a filter, and some tape…

– Shadow City: Use recycled materials to create 2D models of buildings. Afterwards, we illuminate the city with a single lamp and watch the shadow city emerge!

– Light Illusion: Learn to create an impressive illusion that you can display at home!

– Secret messages : Use UV light to find the secret message hidden on Vitenparken !
