Taste party

Time: 11:00 – 15:00
Price: NOK 100 per participant (free for an adult accompanied by a child and children under 3 years old).
During February's Science Weekend, children can join a taste journey. Here they will have the opportunity to taste different things, vote for their favorite, test their sensory skills and learn how sight, smell and other senses affect the taste experience.
Tastings, educational activities and workshops - this will be fun for both children and adults.
Program for both Saturday and Sunday:
- At 12:00 and 13:30 we will make ice cream with liquid nitrogen!
- Grind flour from whole grains
- Many exciting tastings, both from the present and the future
- Drawing table and large plant stand
- Sour, salty, sweet or bitter: can you handle the taste challenge?
- Taste and senses: how does smell affect the sense of taste?
- Explore our earthworm compost
What is Science Weekend?
Every month we organize a Science Weekend for children and young people at Vitenparken Here, curiosity is combined with science and creativity through fun activities for young and old.
Each Science Weekend has its own unique theme and our facilitators set the framework for educational, interactive and fun activities that help children develop their interests in science, creativity and the environment.
