The last weekend of every month we organize Science Weekend for children and young people at Vitenparken . Here curiosity is combined with science and creativity through fun activities for young and old.

Each Science Weekend has its own unique theme and our facilitators set the framework for educational, interactive and fun activities that help children develop their interests in science, creativity and the environment.

In November's Science Weekend we will learn how to make gifts with our hands using creativity, recycling and science!

Program for Saturday and Sunday

Spiralogram
Have your face or a picture of someone you love transformed into a fascinating spiral where your image appears. Magical! Bring a black or white t-shirt or a shopping bag that you can have the spiral image printed on. The perfect Christmas gift!
Santa's Christmas Race!
Santa is running late and needs your help to deliver the presents on time! Design your own reindeer and guide Santa's motorized sleigh through the obstacle course. Go, Santa!
Science Park's Christmas Workshop
Not a bad word about Christmas elves and Christmas baskets, but at Vitenparken You're going to have a go at making Christmas decorations that we don't think you've tried before. Maybe you'll find a new favorite?

Christmas ball
Compete against friends and acquaintances in a different and crazy Christmas ball competition.

Gingerbread creations
There are many strange things you can make if you have a 3D printer and a laser cutter. We combine new technology with good old gingerbread and make gingerbread creations you've never seen before!

Program a snowflake
Our amazing Sisyphus sand printers are rigged up and ready to draw the patterns you program. This weekend's challenge is to program the most beautiful snowflake.
