Price : NOK 100 per child + 1 adult. Additional adult ticket costs NOK 100 per participant. Tickets can also be purchased in the café when you arrive.
Join us for an unforgettable Science Weekend as we transform Vitenparken to a real Winter Wonderland! This special Christmas event is filled with exciting coding and programming activities, creative gift workshops like origami and tons of fun! Let your kids unleash their creativity and explore the wonders of winter – and who knows, they might meet the Powder Witch, Santa Claus, a real horse, and experience more surprises! 🎅✨
🎅 Christmas Workshop 2.0 – The Grain Room
Create your own Santa Claus, reindeer or snowman! With paper cups and Spherocules, children can create figures and program them to drive around. Here, traditional craftsmanship and technology meet in a unique mix.
✨ Christmas Origami – The Grain Room
Fold magical origami figures! Make snowflakes, poinsettias or other Christmas decorations that can brighten up your home.
💻 Christmas Code Art – Mezzanine
Explore creative coding! Design beautiful patterns, snowflakes and stars with Sisyphus +Code. The artwork can be drawn with our sand printers or laser cut to take home.
🎄 Christmas Lego – DGP
Build and program Christmas-themed Lego creations! We set up an atmospheric backdrop where children can show off their creations and capture the moments with photos or video.
🐴 Meet a real horse or take a ride around campus! (The ride costs NOK 45 and is paid with Vipps).
🧙 Face painting and book reading with the Powder Witch: Book reading at 11:30 and 14:00.
On the same day, we are also hosting a Christmas Market with sustainable, handmade products from local producers!
