Digital breakfast seminar – NMBU Sustainability Arena – GreenSmart

"How can urban agriculture be operated and optimized to contribute to increased interaction between industry and school?"

When: October 29, 2021, 8:15 AM – 9:15 AM
Where: Digital collection, Zoom link here
Download: Calendar invitation

This fall's seminars provide short and exciting insights into the work of the students in the new master's program in urban agriculture at NMBU. On Friday, October 29, a new issue regarding interaction between school and industry will be introduced. The master's students will present their work and preliminary answers. We will then conclude with an open discussion about the work.

This is the third seminar, of a total of five student seminars, which will take place every two weeks in the fall of 2021. The seminars are short digital sessions with student presentations, each of which addresses important challenges and interesting issues in urban development, where urban agriculture can respond to social, ecological and economic sustainability. The students work in interdisciplinary teams, and have a very broad academic background. The common denominator is a burning commitment to food production and sustainable development in greener cities.

Join by logging in at the link above and feel free to contribute with input and questions in the discussion after the presentations. Do you have any questions? Please contact hugo.a.nilsen@nmbu.no!

Welcome Friday 29 October at 08:15!
