From middle school up to high school
CodeArt
KodeKunst is a nationwide initiative supported by Sparebankstiftelsen DNB where participants produce algorithmic art using programmable sand printers from Sisyphus Industries. Through block programming or python, participants are given the opportunity to control the small metal ball that moves through the sand. The program is excellent for children from middle school up to high school, and can be adapted to the participants' prior knowledge through both thematic and programming language.
CREATIVITY, COMMITMENT AND EXPLORATORY SPIRIT
Art and culture encompass many creative and imaginative disciplines, which influence both our physical surroundings and the development of society. Our aesthetic sense is developed in the face of different cultural expressions, and they help to highlight new perspectives. Artistic and cultural expressions are also important for the individual's personal development. Cultural experiences have their own value, and students should experience a varied range of cultural expressions throughout their time at school.
In a broader perspective, creative learning processes are also a prerequisite for students' formation and identity development. The school should value and stimulate students' curiosity and creativity, and students should be allowed to use their creative powers throughout their primary education.
