Felleskjøpet is a cooperative owned by 44,000 farmers. Cooperatives as a form of ownership are important for Norwegian agriculture. This gives farmers the necessary security and ensures good deliveries of both raw materials, products and services.

For us in Vitenparken Felleskjøpet is a natural partner. They are the most important supplier of technology and operating equipment to Norwegian agriculture.

According to the UN, we must increase world food production by a full 70 percent by 2050. In other words, we must produce more food in the next 40 years than we have in the last 6,000 years. This poses a major challenge for the world's food industry, which must succeed in providing the population with more, better, and cleaner food, while minimizing the overall environmental impact.

This is one of those things Vitenparken is working to find solutions. So is Felleskjøpet, which is continuously developing climate-friendly solutions that are profitable for the farmer.
