NIBIO

The Norwegian Institute for Bioeconomy (NIBIO) is an important collaboration and expertise partner for us at Vitenparken . NIBIO contributes knowledge about food and plant production, the environment, maps, land use, genetic resources, forests, business, industry and social economics. Much of the knowledge we disseminate on Vitenparken has its origins in research conducted at NIBIO.

NIBIO aims to contribute to food security, sustainable resource management, innovation and value creation within the value chains for food, forestry and other bio-based industries. NiBIO does this through research and knowledge production. Vitenparken wants to contribute to the same through the dissemination of knowledge, research and skills.

NIBIO is one of Norway's largest research institutions with approximately 700 employees. NIBIO is one of our neighbors on Campus Ås.
