VitenSmak – Grades 8-10

Imagine something as mundane as eating and tasting – a daily activity that all humans have in common. But through this educational offering, students will take a closer look at this everyday activity. Students will become better acquainted with the scientific subject of sensory science. They will be challenged to test their individual experiences related to food and put into words how their food experiences are influenced by various factors. They will also become familiar with some of the physiological processes that make up only part of the overall experience we humans have around taste and food.

At the Science Park's Food Lab, students will be able to conduct experiments and test out some special ways of cooking.
