Vitenparken

Arts and crafts project

After completing the digital short story and the laboratory experiment, the time has come for the final part of The Mystery in Østmarka, namely telling the world what you think about predators using some creative storytelling techniques.
We in Vitenparken think there is too much arguing about predators in society. For us, it is not so important whether you like, dislike, or do not particularly care about predators. But it is important that everyone who has an opinion should be allowed to express themselves in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. That is why we want you to be able to tell the world around you what you think about predators in a way that is personal and does not create debates or arguments in the schoolyard. And since we even work with bio-art at our school, i.e. art and biology in beautiful harmony, we thought that art is a great way to express yourself about predators.
That's why we have developed a small art project that you can take part in.
FUN!

Implementation

A science host from Vitenparken is coming to their school. She has brought with her a class set with cutouts of the silhouette of a canine animal (dog or wolf) made of MDF or other glued wood. There should be enough cutouts for all the students in the grade.

The task the students will complete is to express what they have learned and/or what they think about predators through a piece of art.
The art will then be exhibited in the classroom or another location at the school.

Suggestions for decorations
