Campus As

The research environment at Ås is the spearhead of the new bioeconomy. In establishing a green science park, we will benefit from a rapidly growing university environment and corresponding large regional infrastructure investments. The role of the green science park in relation to the campus will be as a meeting place for the business community and a contact point for the research environment at Campus Ås, and facilitate more interaction between business, upper secondary schools and the professional community. It will also be a catalyst for increased green innovation and business development and inspire young, talented people who will develop and work in Norway's green business environment based on agriculture, forestry and a number of new green industries.

In the Norwegian context, it is unique to locate such a center on a university campus. This location offers great potential for synergy effects.
