Post 10: Biodiversity dilemma
The fewest food plants originate in Norway, or in Scandinavia. Therefore, it is not here that we find most of the plants' wild relatives. Many of our food plants come from the Mediterranean area , but we also use a number of both Asian and American plants. The originally African plants are little represented on our lands and in our diet. The map below shows where the most and fewest wild relatives come from.
