Biodiversity loss
We humans are spreading out, taking up more and more space. We are filling the world with fields and airports and shopping malls and mines and cottage areas, and everything is taking someone else's space. Birds and fish and trees and insects are being squeezed out. Over the past few decades, there have been dramatically fewer individuals of both larger animals and insects. In addition, species are becoming extinct at a high rate. For now, we don't notice it much, but are we balancing on the edge of a cliff?
