About the teaching resources for kindergarten
The websites about teaching resources for kindergarten have been developed in collaboration between Brønnerud School and Vitenparken Campus Ås, with support from Ås Municipality and Sparebankstiftelsen . Here you can read more about the project and the collaboration.
Collaboration with Brønnerud School in Ås
The project “Making Brønnerud School's previous school garden projects accessible and adapted in relation to the curriculum's subject renewal” received support from Ås Municipality in 2018-2019.
Brønnerud School has long and good experience with the use of school gardens in an educational context, and over the years has had a significant number of projects to refer to. To ensure that the expertise does not disappear when individuals change their involvement, we have created a project that is about making educational resources available to everyone who is interested in school gardens.
Brønnerud School is very committed to using its school garden, and is working hard to use it in teaching for all grades at the school.
Subject renewal in school
Vitenparken has an educational department where some of the staff are both gardeners and educators. In addition to the Science Park's professional expertise in science center didactics, educators work at Vitenparken with creativity, sustainability and coding. This school garden project is working to develop and make available user-friendly resource packages that teachers can easily benefit from in light of the subject renewal.
We hope that those of you who use the pages will find them useful. Please send an e-mail to elise@vitenparken.no if you have any questions.
