Join GreenSmart NMBU for a lunch seminar with Prof. Dr. Jorge M. Marchetti and Petter H Heyerdahl, Associate Professor, Norwegian University of Life Science – NMBU.
Valorization of waste, or in simpler terms, converting waste into other products or energy sources, has become an essential topic in the past years.
Prof. Dr. Jorge M. Marchetti and Associate Professor Petter Heyerdahl will present their work on the valorization of waste, including cooperation, partnerships, and specific results from their projects. They will also present a microwave assisted pyrolysis technology that could be used to produce syngas (hydrogen) as well as biochar, pyrolysis oil and heat and power. We will also learn more about how this this technology can be applied.
The GreenSmart seminars are short gatherings that explore important challenges, projects, and issues. Areas of focus range broadly from topics such as urban development and agriculture to social equality and entrepreneurship.
